Biography
I received my Bachelors of Writing Arts and Pre-K through Third grade Education Certification in 2020 and am now pursuing my second Bachelors in English and my Master’s in Education. I hope to teach high school and college level English, as well as further on return to Rowan to receive my Master’s in Counseling in Educational Settings to become a guidance counselor. My long-term goals as a future guidance counselor are to provide students with goals and to help pursue their own ambitions while creating a safe and compassionate place for them to be.
During my time away from school, I worked as a Kindergarten teacher to a classroom of spectacularly gifted and incredible children. Here I sharpened and worked on my own aspirations and future goals I wish to accomplish. Now, I want to help in guiding other students to finding where their heart is leading them. Therefore, I joined the Center for Professional Success as an intern because I believed in their core values and feel that I can learn and share valuable experience in working with students and providing them additional guidance through the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
