Experiential Learning in the Curriculum
Experiential Learning in the Curriculum
Embedding Experiential Learning into the Curriculum
Experiential learning is integral to your overall education as it allows you to apply what you are learning, gain hands-on experience, and in some cases, network with professionals in your field of interest. For these reasons, beginning in fall 2021, every major in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences (CHSS) will require students to participate in at least 1 credit of experiential learning. While some majors require a specific course, many allow students to choose from several options.

The drop-down menus below list the experiential learning required by each major. Courses listed here represent only a portion of what is required for each academic program. To view full program guides, visit the Registrar's website.Africana Studies
