Certificate of Graduate Study
The History Department is excited to invite you to apply to either of three graduate certificate programs: the Certificate of Graduate Study (COGS) in History, the COGS in Digital Humanities, and the COGS in Global History. Students interested in earning one of these COGS will take 9 or 12 graduate level history credits.
The History Department regularly offers graduate courses in American, Latin American, European, Russia, Asian, African, and/or Middle Eastern history; all courses will familiarize students with relevant primary and scholarly sources as well as up to date historical interpretations and methodologies in the field. Courses are most commonly offered during the evenings during the summer and academic year.
