Digital History
In our digital history classes and programs, students learn how to use digital technology to better understand, interpret, and communicate about the past. History students can gain hands-on experience carrying out digital history research projects in collaboration with faculty through the Center for Digital Humanities Research. In addition to digital history courses for both undergraduate and graduate students, the department also offers interactive digital history programs like the Douglass Day Transcribe-a-thon and the opportunity to develop useful digital skills in this growing field.
