Biography
Prof. Vance Kincade grew up in Norristown, PA. He received his BA from Syracuse University and his MA from Villianova University. Prof. Kincade attended and received his Ph. D from Miami University in 1996. His dissertation and subsequent book, Heirs Apparent: Solving the Vice Presidential Dilemma traces the difficulty that a sitting vice president has in ascending to the presidency. Prof. Kincade has been at Rowan University since 2000. He has taught the US survey courses as well as the Western Civilization surveys. Prof. Kincade and his wife and daughter currently live in Pottstown, PA.
