Rosa Parks Luncheon, Featuring Joan Trumpauer Mulholland
Date: Tuesday, March 3rd, 11AM
One of the original Freedom Riders, Joan Trumpauer Mulholland was imprisoned in Mississippi's notorious Parchman Penitentiary. Participating in more than three dozen protests since the age of 19, she became one of the first white students to integrate Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi, and one of the first whites to join historically black sorority Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.
