• December 2014: Melissa Klapper's book, Ballots, Babies, and Banners of Peace: American Jewish Women's Activism, 1890-1940 (NYU Press), won the 2013 National Jewish Book Award in Women's Studies.
• December 2014: Melissa Klapper was a roundtable participant for "Jewish Motherhood: Cultural Images and Practices from Antiquity to Modernity" at the Association for Jewish Studies conference.
• December 2014 Melissa Klapper was a Panel Commentator for "Redefining the Jewish Agenda in American Terms: Recalcitrant Rabbis, Patriotic Yeshivas and a Gentleman's Agreement" at the Association for Jewish Studies.
