- April 10-12, 2014: Jim Heinzen gave a paper at the Southern Conference of Slavic Studies in Atlanta (April 10-12), called "'A Disease that Must be Exposed': Campaigns against Corruption under Khrushchev".
- April 7, 2014: Melissa Klapper spoke about her book "Ballots, Babies, and Banners of Peace" at Congregation Beth Am Israel in Penn Wynne, PA.
- April 5-6, 2014: Stephen Hague gave a paper at the Mid-Atlantic Conference on British Studies in New York.
- April 3-5, 2014: William Carrigan spoke about his next research project, "Staring Down the Mob: Men and Women Who Prevented Lynchings" at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
