November 2013
- November 2013: The University of Georgia Press's Editorial Board gave final approval to publish Emily Blanck's book entitled "Tyrannicide: Forging an American Law of Slavery in Revolutionary South Carolina and Massachusetts".
- November 2013: Melissa Klapper presented on her research at the Working Group on the Jews of New York at the Center for Jewish History, New York City. She also delivered addresses on her most recent book for the Jewish Foundation for Women in New York and for the National Council of Jewish Women in Union, New Jersey.
- November 2013: William Carrigan gave a talk entitled "The Secret History of the Forgotten Dead," about the origins of his recent co-authored book, Forgotten Dead for the Rowan University Student History Association.
- November 2013: Jim Heinzen participated in a round table discussion dedicated to "Comparing Pre-war and Post-war Stalinism" and also commented on a panel at the annual meeting of the Association for Slavic of Eurasian and East European Studies (ASEEES) in Boston. The panel was titled, "The Exception and the Rule of Law: Notions of Justice in Russian History and Culture".
