Certificate of Graduate Study
Beginning this summer, the History Department will offer graduate courses in American, Latin American, European, Russia, Asian, African, and/or Middle Eastern history; all courses will familiarize students with relevant primary and scholarly sources as well as up to date historical interpretations and methodologies in the field. Courses will be offered in the evenings during the summer and academic year.
If you are interested in applying for a History COGS, go to the webpage of the College of Graduate & Continuing Education. The application process for both the COGS in History (G120) and COGS in World History (G121) includes a one page Statement of Objectives, transcripts, and two recommendations; GREs are NOT required. We strongly recommend that students interested in beginning the program in summer 2007 apply by April 1; students may take up to 9 credits on a pre-matriculated basis. For more information about the COGS programs, contact Dr. William Carrigan, carrigan@rowan.edu.
