Biography

Dr. Blanck teaches courses on Intellectual History, Historical Methods, and US Legal History. She also teaches courses for American Studies. Dr. Blanck received her B.A. in history from the University of Texas at Austin where she also majored in African American studies. Dr. Blanck received her M.A. at the College of William and Mary, and her Ph.D. from Emory University. Dr. Blanck has a forthcoming book, Tyrannicide: Forging an American Law of Slavery in Revolutionary South Carolina and Massachusetts with University of Georgia Press.
