The College of Humanities and Social Sciences values the strength that interdisciplinary methodology brings to student learning. Rowan has had a long history of valuing these programs. Since 1973, when the College launched one of the first Women’s Studies program, Rowan has offered students the ability to explore an important subject through the lens of many disciplines to understand more deeply. Currently, the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies hosts many interdisciplinary programs including:
