For the 79^th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz, the Rowan University community will take part in the nationwide effort to honor the victims of the Holocaust and Nazi persecution by holding a Day of Remembrance ceremony starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday 25 January 2024. This event coincides with the nation's annual commemoration of the Holocaust established by Congress. The ceremony, which is open to all, will feature a candle-lighting ceremony and selected readings in remembrance of the Holocaust.
