For the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz, the Rowan University community will take part in the nationwide effort to honor the victims of the Holocaust and Nazi persecution by holding a Day of Remembrance ceremony starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday 25 January 2024. This event coincides with the nation's annual commemoration of the Holocaust established by Congress. The ceremony, which is open to all, will feature a candle-lighting ceremony and selected readings in remembrance of the Holocaust.
