Joseph Poma holds a B.A. ('82) from the University of South Florida, Tampa. He has over 30 years experience teaching foreign languages at the elementary, secondary, and university levels. He studied advanced language and literatures in Italian and French at the Università italiana per stranieri in Perugia, Italy and the Université de Montréal in Québec, Canada respectively and received an M.A. ('95) from Middlebury (VT) College. He also holds an M.A. ('99) in Educational Administration from Madison (MS) University and an M.A. ('02) in ESL/L2 Education from Rowan. Joe possesses 30+ post-graduate hours in French literature and L2 instruction from the University of Delaware and is prequalifying Ph.D. at Rutgers, New Brunswick. He has traveled extensively through and organized educational tours and stays in Italy, France, and Québec.

Joe's hobbies include the gym, martial arts, and reading a good book on the Jersey shore.
