Elementary Russian I
(Offered during Fall semesters)
This beginning course is open to students who have not previously studied Russian. It covers mechanics of the language, practice in articulating Russian speech patterns and reading and writing in Russian.

Elementary Russian II
Elementary Russian II
(Prerequisite: RUSS 06.101, minimum grade of C-; or waiver) (Offered during Spring semesters) (Continuation of Elementary Russian I)
This course focuses on the emphasis on the students' continued development of communicative competence in Russian with emphasis on the four skill areas of speaking, reading, writing and listening comprehension.

Intermediate Russian I

(Prerequisite: RUSS 06.102, minimum grade of C-; or waiver) (Offered during Fall semesters)
This course is open to students who have had some limited contact with the Russian language. It surveys grammar and offers expanded practice, particularly in speaking and reading.
