Mrs. Cathy Moncrief is a native of South Jersey. She received her B.A. in Spanish from Rutgers University and her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction in Spanish from Glassboro State College (Now Rowan University, of course). She taught Spanish for 30 years in Washington Township and spent 10 years as the Supervisor of Instruction of Spanish and ESL overseeing 40 teachers in 10 buildings. She taught at Camden County College for 8 years and has been here at Rowan for several years. She is also President of the Lindenwold Board of Education and has been for the last 17 years. She is very proud that her 2 daughters have followed in her footsteps and are both teachers.
