Biography
Katiria Ortiz is a native of Ponce, Puerto Rico. In addition to teaching Spanish classes as an Adjunct Instructor at Rowan, she is currently a full-time Spanish Elementary teacher. She earned her Master's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor's degree from Rowan University, class of 2010. Her interests include reading fiction and nonfiction novels, and she enjoys writing short Spanish Bilingual stories for her young students. She loves traveling to many South American countries and also visiting her roots in Puerto Rico. In addition to traveling, she has been an active participant in many foreign language events and organizations that have shaped the instruction she provides to her students.
