Biography
Blair Watson is an instructor of French at Rowan. She has been teaching French for over a decade. She has a Ph.D. in French Literature from Emory University, an M.A. in French Translation from Kent State University, and a B.A. in French from Wake Forest University. Her teaching interests include Francophone Africa, the Caribbean, and Afro-diasporic literature and film. Her research focuses on visual media and the ongoing connection between colonization, immigration, and racialized violence in Africa, the Caribbean, and metropolitan France.
