Students with general questions about the major or CUGS can contact the University Advising Center, Savitz Hall, Suite 323 (856.256.4459 / advise@rowan.edu). The Spanish Major Concentration/Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) in Spanish Translation and Interpretation may be declared in the Department of World Languages, Oak Hall 107 or by contacting the University Advising Center, Savitz Hall, Suite 323 (856.256.4459 / advise@rowan.edu). 

The Spanish Major Concentration/Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) in Spanish Translation and Interpretation (12 s.h.) recognizes students’ completion of 12 s.h. of related coursework.  For Spanish Majors, this credential is referred to as a Concentration; for non-Spanish Majors, this credential is referred to as a Certificate.  This Concentration/Certificate enhances the profile of all job applicants across all fields of study, as it promotes both autonomous and collaborative learning in Translation and Interpretation from the classroom to the community and forming global and empathic leadership skills.
