Application deadlines are coordinated between the program and Rowan Global. The application deadline for the Fall 2024 semester is July 1, 2024. We strongly encourage applicants apply as soon as possible to enhance your chances of securing a spot in a cohort. There is only an option to start the MSW program in the fall of any year.

Evaluation Process: Rowan’s MSW works in collaboration with the Rowan Global office and operates on a rolling admission schedule. Candidates are notified of admissions decisions via the application portal. Applicants accepted to the program must submit the required deposit, which secures a seat in the upcoming fall semester classes.

Applicants typically receive a decision of Admit or Deny. If/when the program is at capacity, a waitlist is generated with applicants who meet acceptance criteria for whom we do not currently have space.

In rare cases the program may opt to have a “probationary admit” decision as well. This decision is typically used when an applicant’s GPA may be just below the minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA listed under the standard admissions requirements, but other areas in the applicant's record indicate that they may be successful in the program. A typical probationary admit is “Maintain a 3.0 in your first semester."
