  • The Rowan Masters in Diversity and Inclusion seeks to build a program to develop adaptable professionals rooted in the Humanities and Social Sciences who can provide tools and assessment for cultural change building equitable, diverse, and inclusive communities. Grounded in the disciplines of Humanities and Social Sciences, this program offers an intellectual approach with no easy answers. Professor Marissa Parham of Amherst College noted that, “Taking an intellectual perspective on the institutional work of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) helps people make connections between the urgency of organizational change and their extant sense of how and why the world works.”
  • This Masters, and/or this Certificate of Graduate Study, will benefit those seeking to work, toward the expansion of equity and inclusion across the intersections of our human diversity, in corporations, businesses, schools, and institutions of all kinds, including the government or the non-profit sector.
