4+1 BA/MA Programs

We offer multiple paths to receive an MA in Diversity and Inclusion. In five years a student can complete both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. In these degree paths, students can develop their own expertise in the field by majoring in Africana Studies, Anthropology, History, or Sociology.

Students in the Combined Degree program can take 4 Graduate Courses as a part of their undergraduate education, saving over $10,000 off the cost of the Master’s Degree.  After completing their BA, students will automatically be admitted to the MA program to complete their program.

Students should apply in their Junior year to the Undergraduate 4+1 advisor:

Chanelle Rose – rosec@rowan.edu – Africana Studies;
Seran Schug – schug@rowan.edu - Anthropology;
Emily Blanck – blancke@rowan.edu – History;
