Awards and Scholarships
Thelma Rebecca Dyer Caswell and Helen Criden Cohen Award:
The award is made possible by the generous support of Bruce and Carol Caswell, who established it in honor of their mothers, Thelma Rebecca Dyer Caswell, and Helen Criden Cohen.
Two students will be selected to receive a Caswell/Cohen Award for $600 each. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a Women's & Gender Studies academic program (minor or CUGS) who are first generation college students and/or from a single parent home.
Students should submit scholarship applications directly to Dr. Whitney Cox, Interim Coordinator of the Women’s & Gender Studies Program, via email at coxw@rowan.edu by January 31. Applications consist of a 1-2 page double-spaced essay explaining the applicants’ qualifications and the importance of the Women’s & Gender Studies program to their academic, professional, and personal paths at Rowan University.”
