MAPIS2025 "Know Before You Go"

Here are some key things to know before attending MAPIS2025:

Attendance – Especially if you can no longer attend:

  • With 180 registrants, MAPIS2025 is at capacity.
  • If you can no longer attend MAPIS2025, please email us at RIPPAC@rowan.edu immediately.
  • We have a growing waiting list of other interns who are ready to take your spot if you cannot be there.

Location: 

  • MAPIS2025 will take place in the Chamberlain Student Center, located at 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
  • Click here for a marked-up campus map showing you where to go. 

Parking: 

  • All attendees are required to park in Lot F. This lot is adjacent to the railroad tracks on Rt. 322. There will be signage at the entrance.  
  • If you are using Google Maps, search for “Triad Apartments”.
  • Parking is free. You should have received a parking pass in your email. Please print it and leave it on your dashboard. If you have not received the pass, please email RIPPAC@rowan.edu ASAP. 
  • Lot F is a 6-minute walk to the Chamberlain Student Center.

Driving Directions:

  • Click here for driving directions to Rowan University's Glassboro, NJ campus. 

Attire:

  • Attire for MAPIS2025 is “business casual,” as if you were working on a Friday in a law firm. No jeans. No shorts. No T-shirts. No sneakers.
  • We are asking you to dress comfortably, but professionally.
  • Please be sure to check the weather for the day, as we will not be able to provide rain gear!

Checking In:

  • Once you enter the Chamberlain Student Center, please go to the 2nd floor and pick up your credentials at the registration desk.

Arrival Time:

  • Please try to check in at 8:15 am, when registration opens. The program officially begins at 9:00 am.
  • Arriving early gives you time to get your credentials, have some light breakfast, have your free professional headshot taken (first come-first served), and network with each other.
  • The light breakfast will include bagels and light pastries, along with coffee and water.

  • Once you enter the Chamberlain Student Center, please go to the 2nd floor and pick up your credentials at the registration desk.

Departure Time:

  • Please plan to stay for the entire conference which ends at 3:30 pm. This is important.
  • Staying to the end will demonstrate your professionalism and respect. We trust that you will act accordingly.
  • As an additional incentive, the ice cream truck will be available to all MAPIS2025 attendees who stay to the end.

  • Hon. Chris Christie, former Governor of NJ
  • Christina Renna, President & CEO, Chamber of Commerce – Southern NJ
  • Hon. Patrick Murphy, former Congressman (PA), former Undersecretary of the Army
