The Eagle vs. The Turkey April Fools' Day Debate
RIPPAC April Fools' Day Debate
Which is More American: The Eagle or the Turkey?
RIPPAC's Annual April Fools' Day Debate attempts to settle a question at the forefront of no one's mind for generations: which is the most American bird?
This mock academic debate pits two teams comprised of a student and a faculty member against each other as they examine the comparative patriotic virtues of their chosen fowl. The event is our way of adding a much-needed moment of levity in an otherwise serious political world.
