CSI
Participants in Rowan's Forensic Anthropology Class investigate a clandestine burial as part of their final class project. The excavation, recovery and analysis of this burial permits the students to put their knowledge of human skeletal anatomy and deductive methods to the test in order to determine the age, sex, and population affiliation of the "deceased" as well as the cause and manner of the person's death.
Virtual MARU
The free and open access to anthropological research is the aim of the Virtual MARU project. As part of this mission the students record the specimens photographically as well as conduct well documented research on those specimens to make avaialble on the worldwide web.
