Phi Sigma Tau

Phi Sigma Tau

Phi Sigma Tau is the international philosophical honor society. The Rowan chapter of Phi Sigma Tau was founded in 2012.

Our main purpose is to recognize the academic achievements of our students. In addition, we coordinate with the Rowan Philosophy Club to host group discussions and social events. The faculty advisor is Dr. Nathan Bauer.

To be eligible for Phi Sigma Tau you need to have (a) completed three semesters of coursework (at least one at Rowan); (b) taken at least two philosophy courses (at least one at Rowan); and (c) have a 3.3 or better GPA at Rowan (both overall and in your philosophy courses). Please email Dr. Bauer if you are interested in joining our chapter.

For the latest on Phi Sigma Tau activities, follow us at our joint Phi Sigma Tau / Philosophy Club Facebook page.
