January 2014
- January 2014: William Carrigan participated in a mock debate on the topic "Lincoln: Tyrant or Savior?" with Louis Masur of Rutgers University at a program sponsored by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities at Watchung Hill High School.
- January 2014: The 2013 National Jewish Book Award in Women's Studies was awarded to Melissa Klapper's book Ballots, Babies, and Banners of Peace: American Jewish Women's Activism, 1890-1940 (NYU Press, 2013).
- January 2014: Stephen Hague launched "Downton Discussions" with his inaugural lecture, "Why Do We Love It? An Introduction to Downton Abbey" at the Bozorth Hall Auditorium.
