The College of Humanities & Social Sciences is excited to have Dr. Yvonne Hammond serve as the Faculty in Residence for the Center for Professional Success. Please feel welcome to schedule a time to meet with Dr. Hammond to discuss concerns, questions or to seek mentorship related to graduate school, including (but not limited to):

  • Concerns or questions about the required documentation for graduate school
  • Finding the right school or program fit for your needs
  • Funding graduate education, drafting writing materials
  • General information about the application process
  • What to consider before applying to graduate school
  • What to expect from graduate school education and life.

Schedule a Graduate School Exploration/Preparation Appointment Through Starfish:

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Hammond through Starfish, please follow the steps listed below:

  • Login into your Starfish/RSN account through the following website.
  • After logging in, please type “CHSS Center for Professional Success” in the search bar, and arrive at the “CHSS Center for Professional Success” homepage.
  • Select Dr. Hammond and on her homepage, click “Schedule Appointment,” where you can select a specific time and date for your desired appointment.
  • After you select the best time for your schedule, please read and verify all of the information on the screen, and add whatever information you would like Dr. Hammond to know before your visit into the text box on the right side of the screen.
